Work so far is looking fantastic, i will be glued to this thread to see how it turns out. Just wish i had the skills to try it for myself.

Its really easy, just time consuming.
I've done it, but not as far as frame and swinger. Just did the forks and rims. The rims come up surprisingly quick, the forks are cast so they are a bit more annoying

I finished the house, I've built the shed ansd so Im looking towards my next epic project and I see this thread!!! Thanks a bloody bunch! That does it, I'm left with no choice a winter of polishing to follow!

exellent im looking forward to seeing what all the new polished stuff looks like when the bike is all back together! its something id love to do to my own but the furthest ive got is chroming up the heel plates lol

Wow, i really love the amount of detail and hard-work your putting into this. Really shows!

I'm currently stripping my sv at the moment and cleaning, then full rebuild.

I might have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind a bit later on in my stripping as its only my 2nd complete rebuild.

I'll post up a topic with my progress and pics so you can maybe give me some pointers.
