so polished the last bit today and ready to accept freshly painted panels!

collect tomorrow so should all be back on by Saturday.



got to paint middle and final polish but you get the idea.

mainly because it's an absolute B**tard to polish so easier to just paint, the black paint does look good against polished metal also.

p.s the middle is where the key goes by the way not the middle plate.

Is it all made from Aluminum or steel in the middle? I've noticed you've flattened the ribs too. Looks kinda retro cool.

Its a mild alloy really soft so you have to be careful how hard you press. I am quite pleased with the result.

So then the bike is back together, i have some pictures for you
just as a reminder

I paid not a lot of money for the bike in the first place so to do this work seemed like a good idea, and it really didn't cost that much.
During the rebuild I made good friends with Boot off here we swapped front ends if anyone can remember and during the rebuild he decided he would like his spraying to so we combined efforts and painted both bikes. so firstly i have pictures of boots bike, however i do need some daylight ones boot they didn't come out well.

and now for mine.






so there we go i also have a video walk round but still waiting for youtube to upload.
