Hopefully I'll get mine installed soon, but without heat in the garage I can't face it yet. Although some carpet on the floor would help

Yeah, I asked Carol if I could bring my bike into the flat so I could work on it in the warm, but it meant that she would have to put her drum kit in the garage!

Luckily we have a Generator and that can run lights, tool and entertainment and that keeps the garage warm too. Highly recommended too, it is about 1.5 KW and is enough to run the band as well as run our garage when I am down there. Just wish it was a little more quiet. It is a little 4 stroke engine and always sounds just like my CG125 going for it!

Carol bought it from E-Bay for her birthday last year and it cost just over £100, well worth it though, well recommended to those of you who do not have power in your garage too.

The perfect night at home: missus away, footy on the TV, beer and plate of chips, tool box open and sockets ready..........the lady love laid out ready for a winter strip, her body work delicately removed whilst we dream of sunny days to come together. Sitting in the front room on her stands, surrounded by protective blankets, I keep a watchful ear out for returning headlights...................bliss

Might have some SRAD 750 forks for sale, I've kinda committed to using the 600 normal way up ones on my SV now.

Well, my GSXR front end project started today. I've got all the bits now, so after doing bugger all over Christmas (although I had been ill ) I thought I'd make a start today.

So I've started to polish the top yoke. I only lasted an hour in the garage before the cold got to me. To be fair I'd changed the rabbits bedding before going into the garage, so I'd been outside for nearly 2 hours. But I'm still waiting for my feet to defrost

Won a heater on Evilbay yesterday, so that'll help, but I need something on the floor as well.

Still I've made a start. More tea and jaffa cakes required
