You can get garage specific floor tiles from Busters or I've seen similar ones on Evilbay. I certainly need to insulate my feet from the cold concreate, as this is the first thing to get me

also boddy building mats work we have them under the carpet tiles on one side of the garage, but could have them showing without the carpet. the good think about the boddy building mats is that they are shock absorbing so if you drop a spanner or somthing theres no noise lol

how are they affixed to the floor (just worth thinking about) I've got a couple of (big) pieces of lino down in the garage. Had a few comedy moments where I've ridden into the garage at speed braked, the wheels locked and took the whole sheet of lino a couple of feet, not dropped it yet in this fashion though...

best way mate would be some tackifier, this either comes in a spray can or a tub you can spread on the floor, it stays tacky instead of setting like glue so if the carpet/lino/vinyl or carpet tiles get dirty you can still rip it up and replace it, i get all this stuff for free from my place of work as im a carpet fitter

Nice thread...like the contrast between the black bodywork and polished bits.

i have done this to my forks and they look great, as long as they get a good wipe down after being out in the rain i have had no problems with corrosion, autosol is great brings the shine right out.
