not a great video but hopefully get the idea. All indicators are Leds and this has just started are they were all replaced. the indicator light never fully goes off then back on it justs fades. i have a relay in and the flash rate is fine any ideas? |

mine does that, albeit when it 'goes off' its not as bright as yours. I think it is something to do with the relay. Alternative is just to not use your indys and wave your arms

It's because with all LED's there isn't enough load. Add a normal bulb and hide it or fit a resistor. I just left mine. Doesn't bother me too much. You just notice it at night

i was just wondering if it is goin to be a problem but if you (darren) havent had any that makes me feel better. my mate did say that the indicator itself was actually stuttering aswell when sitting at lights but that might have something to do with the idle being a bit low.
if i pop a resistor into one of the indys wont it just sit about and get really hot? |

No, because its only a few mA of leakage current that is way too small for a bulb but enough for a slight glimmer through an LED.

Yeah fine. I don't think they are too concerned about the dash lights

This problem has been raised before, but the resistors supplied do not seem to emulate the resistance of an incandescent bulb. PM me and I'll send you a pair of resistors that should solve all your woes! Just one required per circuit and job done. Or if you want to, you can get a pair of W22 6R8 vitreous enamel resistors. Wire them in as though they are short-circuiting the circuit and problem of flash rate, etc. should vanish.
