just looks like an attempt to justify why all our bills are now rounded up or down based on a 3 decimal point system.
i'm sorry but i spend my pennies in 2 decimalplaces so why are my bills calculated to 3????? Anyone?

Afternoon all.
If a = 0.999999 then 9a= 8.999991 which divided by 9 makes a .999999. Decimal places my dear  Cheers. I wonder how many are grabbing a calculator after reading this Cheers. |

It's NOT logic at all - just incorrect maths !!
a = 0.999 is correct 10a = 9.999 is incorrect 10a = 9.99 Therefore 10a - a 9.999 - 0.999 is incorrect it should read 9.99 - 0.999 which then gives the correct answer 8.991 Simple really
