That doesn't mean you'll need to ride your bike on the road BTW, none of this trailer crap

Does your mobile number still end with 665? If not PM me a new one.

You're just jealous of those that live in such beautiful countryside!

Anyway the folk here have three nipples, not six toes

Dropped the XT for the first time on this lane

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&so...27.68,,0,14.56

It was very muddy and deeply rutted, and the rut I was in on the left getting difficult, so I tried to jump the bike out of the rut and across to the shallower dryer one on the right. I never got there! WTF happened? Picked the bike up, and realised I had got out of the first rut, but there was actually three ruts, one each side and one in the middle which was the deepest of the three. The middle one was hidden from view by the long grass and the bike fell straight in it. So the bike falls over with the bars and luggage rack in the third rut I was aiming for, on my leg which is on the high bit of grass in-between middle and right ruts, the wheels spinning in the air above the middle rut. So me and bike practically upside down, with legs higher than my arms and one leg trapped. Hit the kill switch. Now, interesting, how the **** am I gonna get out of this one and where the hell is Specialone when I need him? Eventually managed to wriggle free and pick the bike up, bloody hell it's heavy and cos it was practically upside down there's fuel all over my leg!

Also came across this ford, not wide but surprisingly deep, about a foot today. Lost the rear end in there in the deep gravelly bed, but managed to get the power on and snake my way out the other side. I didn't fancy dropping the bike at that point and getting extremely wet!
