The google streetview driver was a green laner

That BOAT crosses a ford too.

Wonder if he got in trouble for off roading in his employers Vauxhall Astra?

just wondering if anyone can recommend any decent mx gear websites?

Been looking into what sort of gear I'd need for greenlaning/suitable to wear on the likes of a DR-Z, I must say I feel like a complete noob again! It's been 3 years "leather are more protective and cooler in summber but not waterproof, textiles will keep you warmer in winter and are generally alot more waterproof but don't give as good protection" etc....

Now it's all back to square one with mx/greenlaning/enduro stuff!

I've already got a tour x3 helmet which I bought at the bikeshow in 2007:

which also looks as though it will happily accept a pair of goggles:

And I've got a set of Hein Gericke textiles which are about as waterproof as a teabag. Oxtar road boots I bought at the end of 2007 as well, doubt these will be any good off road and are starting to look a bit tired now:

Apart from that I've nothing which will be adaptable to off-roading. Having looked at jerseys & stuff, do you wear the body armour underneath and jerseys/pants over the top? The jerseys & pants don't look like they'd keep a rider very warm?

Also what gloves? All advice appreciated

Paul, upto now I've been wearing my textiles and sidi goretex boots, I'm planning on getting a mx lid, jersey, pants, torso body armour and I've got supermoto leather gloves already so will use them.

In the coldest of days I'll still wear my textiles but you could buy a big jersey and build the layers up underneath. Pants I'm not sure tbh, I guess you wear the thermal base layers underneath.

I'm going to the dirt bike show to get my stuff as Speedplay said he got all his gear from there and it was keenly priced.
