I do know that my little ktm does 80 on dirt before my bum starts to twitch though! Lol

You wouldnt get to 30 on the thick mud we was in today, i was doing 10mph tops as it was sliding all over the place, i also popped a wheelie

Deep mud is great for getting the handling skills up to scratch.
One of my play areas is on chalk so that gets interesting in the wet

im still looking for a bike, need to save a little more tho. then i will be joining you. You all be laughing at me as i have never riden off road before lol

I wouldnt worry about your lack off road experience, i never had much either.
I laugh at myself tbh, i just try and stay upright and pi55 myself laughing in the process.

That's what it's all about.
In some ways, it's much more sociable than road riding and there is less risk involved too.
If the weather is cack on Sunday, I'm thinking of going laning instead of on the mess rideout.

Cos im a crap road rider as well, your right about being more sociable, takes pressure off me in a way cos im not being left miles behind and trying to catch up.
