It was a nice price at that mileage.

It's the wrong time of year to be looking for a winter hack. I bought mine in December and I basically had a choice of 4...

Two dealers in the London area that had 2002 and 2003 bike listed at £1500, but they were both over 20k miles.

One at KJM superbikes on an 06 plate (imported from Greece by KJM and sold by them when new, Yamaha stopped selling them here after 2003 due to EU emissions regs so anything newer than that is an import), that had 8000 or so miles, was advertised at £1795 and it had sold for the asking price ten minutes before I phoned about it.

And of course the one I bought.

What about this, http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classifi...01038369011953 only 3 years older than mine, but looks like it's had a lot of restoration work done and has a 9000 mile engine from an 03 plate in it.

If you think he's doing well there, wait 'til you see the muddy stuff! I'll see if I can figure out how to edit bits out and post a vid.

Have you watched 004338.avi Phil? I think we should just entitle it "Oh b*****ks"

Nope, can't figure this Window Movie Maker nonsense out, and if I just try to upload the vid to Photobucket it's 368mb and will take forever on my internet connection. Phil, can you quickly cut the 'mud on lens' bits out of 004338.AVI and stick it on YouTube, or is that a lot of work?

Don't think so, there is plenty of stalled engines, swearing, "I'm knackered" comments, and a couple of close calls for you nearly binning it in that one too. It came off the SD card in a different folder, 20091022.

230801.AVI is pretty good too, it shows the whole section of lane across the fields, where we met the farmer and had to turn round and go through all those gates. It can just go straight up, doesn't need any editing.
