Done a couple of jobs today on the DRZ for anyone interested.
Fitted a 12v socket and an inline fuel filter, the filter is long overdue but had trouble finding one small enough in length.

Anyway, plastics stripped...

The parts...

The filter fitted, do need to get 2 spring clips just to be safe.

The socket fitted...

Knobblies squirm a little but not enough to chuck you off!

its looking more like a soft roader than an off roader at the moment.
When the lanes get proper wet, you may struggle on the road tyres mate.

Its always gonna look like a soft roader tbh, i just fitted a rack and 12v socket so we can travel and camp at further away green lanes without using a trailer.

The tyres are struggling now tbh with some of the mud we encountered last weekend, loose stuff its not too bad, but once mud fills in the gaps on the thread its game over then, slippy slidy

You know what I'm gonna say don't you! If your not happy with riding with those full on knobblies on, bung 'em on ebay and put the cash towards a pair TKC80's!

Thats just it phil, dont lean it over too far and your fine.

Just remember that on knobblies, theres next to bugger all road contact and what little there is, is usually 2 inches away from the rest of the tyre and your fine.

I take mine round town from time to time, just for a giggle in the back streets....
