Nice! They are quite rare, are you going abroad and doing some major off-road miles? I cant see them being much fun unless thats what you have in mind. Its like owning a BMW GS1200 or an 990 Adv, overkill for greenlaning not because of power but weight and £££'s when it goes wrong. This is of course jus my opinion lol

A wiltshire meet sounds like i good idea tho, i need a towbar fitted to my caddy first and VW charge £600 Gotta look into that, surely that isnt right. Maybe find a cheaper after-market one and fit meself? Any suggestions on this? Either that or get one fitted to the missus Astra, could be cheaper! I have access to a trailer so thats bits sorted. I cant be assed to dismantle the KTM everytime i wanna go somewhere. (im a lazy git)

L.O. young man, as you know I am "exceedingly" short in the leg, currently having a good look round, the big debate is do I go dedicated off road or semi off road as I am taking into accouint my grandsons,s asperations to passenger me, think he has forgotten just how old I am ???

Have you thought about a rack for the back of the car to transport the bike?
I'd not go down the trailer route again having used a towball rack.

I have seen those racks somewhere, how do they cope with the weight? The only reason id be using a trailer is because its free, just the tow-bar is needed for now. Maybe something for later....off to have a search now i finks.

Supermotos are just plain awesome! But proper ones mind

Just had a gander, the dave cooper racks are cheap as chips! nice one speedplay...AGAIN

Now to hunt down a flange type towbar for the van. They all seem to be swan neck type for the caddy

I've used an Cooper style rack for years now with no problems.
***mph is still achievable and you can use the fast lane on the motorway too as well as parking and reversing being dead easy too

Had a chat with the guy who's selling the 990 tonight...

Forgot to say, the_lone_wolf uses his 990 adv for the odd bit of laning too
