This is the kind of green lane we need in the UK!

16 kilometres of gravel track following a wind farm along a mountain ridge.

Can anyone tell that I'm looking forward to this trip

Make that 90km! The Portuguese sure have spent a lot of money on wind power! EU money from our British taxes no doubt!!

Off road, and mostly following unsurfaced maintenance roads linking together mountain top wind turbines, from point B to point F.

Seen this today at bikers world by me for all you girls that might be interested...

I'm sure they would let this go for £1500 if you slapped hard cash down.

Good solid bike those, you won't get one in that condition any cheaper off ebay, and you have the protection of buying off a dealer, everything has to be in good working order.

no thanks, I've just paid little more than that for a 2006 plate DRz

its the S model and comes with the enduro wheels as well as the SM ones shown.
I'll be picking it up once mr-P6th gets back to me about availability of him and his van.

Excellent! Well done Matt. Having a baby and buying a new bike in the same week is a hell of a feat too

I've ridden the SM, it is ACE! Turned me into a complete idiot though, I've never filtered Edinburgh city centre traffic with quite as much hooliganism as I did on that thing. It turns on a sixpence and makes you feel like an instant stunting god! Changes direction with just a flick of the bars. With that pipe on it, it's going to sound ace too.

Have you still got another bike or is this your only bike now?

Pointy went yesterday, sold it to Roberrrrt same member who bought my yellow curvy about a yr ago, he's sold that and bought mine.
DRZ is my only bike its now, it'll be the commuter and the weekend toy much the same as the SV was. Only now I should be able to get mucky too

I know Im quite impressed at the bike and kid in a week, although techinically I dont have it yet but the cash is in hand quite literally.

Yeah if I see you about when its in SM set up (maybe AR weekend) your more than welcome to take it for a blast. A little further in info on the DRz is: Full Arrow Race system, Solonoid Removed for 1st-3rd gear restrctions, intake resturction removed, valve cleareneces all done prior to a rejet. = well pleased.
