depends on the bike and road surface i suppose but on my sv they do get a tiny bit blurry under acceleration then settle down again once cruising. no different from the standard ones. BTW the person standing behind the bike in the pics was about 5' away from the back.

What would the difference be like with just the mirrors and no extenders? and with the extenders and no mirrors?

extenders make a good bit of difference. mirrors make a better bit of difference (remembering from my last bike). mirrors and extenders is night and day.

the thing i like about the taller mirrors is that they are more in my line of vision.

don't know if its a bad habit or not but i like to check my mirrors a lot so having mirrors that don't give you a good view is pointless to me.

i'm 5 foot feck all but have a sorta comfort kit. if you look in the pics you will see the bars are a lot higher but not as wide as renthals.

i have had a 6 foot 18 stone and a 5'9'' 16 stone on the bike and both say the same 'OMG i can see behind me' the 6 footer cant see the OEM mirrors on his bike without lifting his arm or sitting on the other side of the seat, he still has to 'scrunch' his shoulder in a bit to see everything but he says he can see a lot more without 'scrunching'. he also commented when we were out on a run that he could see my face in the mirrors when he was behind me.

forgot to add Artful650 has chewies extenders fitted and still has to do acrobatic stunts to see out his OEM mirrors.

i'll be very surprised if you don't like them

Dan...do you need extension on your mirrors due to your rather big fat seating arrangement?
