Maybe not super glue, but it's got to be worth buy a new puncture repair kit for the glue. Blue your money saving rep will be destroyed if you give in on this one (NB I obviously can't see how deep it is - but you can't see the canvas right?)

Why can't you tell us your puncture repair technique? Just don't need to recommend anyone copies you. I for one won't be following it anyway as I couldn't get a tyre even half off, I'm happy with crafty plugger as a permanent repair personally (The writer assumes no liability for anyone copying me)

Oh and

good daily inspections

Hands up time here.

I do approx 100miles a day, and don't check tyres for wear/pressure daily. Every couple of days for me.

That is exactly what I said to the Mod after my post (where I described my intended method) was deleted and snot-o-gram sent … big brother obviously feels you lot are too stupid to form your own opinion as to something’s viability/risk!!!!

Thinking about it I do have another repair kit somewhere, I’ll dig it out and see if the glue is any better?!?!!

Quite right, your idea of packing a hole with Chappati flour & hydrogen peroxide was just stoopid!
