I often park in a car space - especially if there isnt a designated bike park and its not always welcomed if you park on the pavement.

In all seriousness, it bugs the **** out of me if I see a bike in a car space!! ... you can park it anywhere, so why take up valuable car spaces?!?!?

There are bound to be examples where it is impractical to park a bike 'out of the way' ... but its gotta be possible in the majority of cases

ahhh i worked at Tesco about 5 years ago when i was 16 i got ?4.10 then got ?4.75 then went up to ?5.50 and was offerd ?7.50 before i left that was over about a year and a half of boring work....

When dealing with n0bbers like this, I've got the technique down (whether in person or on the phone).

"What's your name? What's your department? Who's your supervisor?"

Bosh. Asking these questions calmly in quick succession and making a written note usually inspires these numptys to stop messing you around. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a retail terrorist who goes around harrassing underpaid staff (I worked at jjb for years before starting my own business so I know about dealing with cnuts).

It works with the likes of river island store managers, the people at insurance companies, Vodafone telesales people and even British Telecom
