I used to have a special form of customer service when I glass collected in a pub in Halifax town centre. It was usually packed so to make your way through a load of ignorant, not-quite-middle-aged tossers while carrying an armload of glasses I usually found that a steel toed boot to the legs usually persuaded people to move. I've never hit a woman, but I was very tempted most nights, one very hoity-toity customer once ended up wearing the contents of a half ful pint of strongbow which had been used as an ashtray. Can't say she looked impressed, but the floor was slippy.
Yeah it is but very specfic been through that I took someone in for it.....

I used to work in a computer game shop when I was in college to make some cash, so one day two people walked and said "do you sell computer games" I was like no sorry fresh out of em then then said oh okay and walked out...

My boss asked why I did that, I said stupid people, stpuid question I would rather help genuie people.

The funniest one i had was the guy walked in and when I worked in HMV and said I bought these music cd's but they don't work. I was like dude that cause there DVD's not CDs haha what an idiot it said dvd in several places on the box, I think everyone laughed at that one.

I haven't been ID for ages in a bar or tesco, thought I have been asked ID to go in some of them in London, I don't really carry ID with me. So thats a pain.

Having worked a bar I know the pain that is ID, I would take Driving licence, or passport. That was it, it my job, money and freedom on the line should I serve someone not 18. So if you didn't have ID then SOL casue you ain't getting beer of me.

I'm not rude when I deal with people I deal with the public everyday, though some people you just have to be rebust with.

As for parking da bike I park near the entrance out the way, or in a parking space.

Try being in the US it doesn't matter if you look way over 21 they still ask, the amount of times a blagged it as a teenager as well!

Now im not standing up for rude shop assistants at all but i did work in currys for 5 years while at school and uni and saw some amazingly rude customers dealing with the other sales staff from time to time, this puts the sales person in a bad mood meaning a small thing (like someone asking why you need id) may send them into a wild rage.

we all know that feeling where your about to burst with rage

anyway i was very very rarely on the recieving end of any abuse in currys partly because i consider myself to be quite calm and polite, i also find being 6ft4 helps too

But at least you don't have to buy each round just to get served

This raises two questions. First, what did you do / say? Secondly, what on earth were you buying alcohol free 'beer' for?

I couldn't think of anything witty to say But I had my driving licence. It was for my dad, he's supposed to be cutting down so I thought I'd inflict some forgeries on him for father's day
