Btw, I wouldn't bother replacing the whole gear change assembly - www.fixer-peg.co.uk can do you a new toe-peg for about 6 quid. I fitted one to my broken brake pedal and it looks as good as factory.

Oopsy.
OK cant see if anybody has answered you Q's You have to buy lowers as a pair. You could always ebay the half you dont need or keep it for a spare !! Paint Code - should be on the pink sticker on the front inside cover of your service manual. I've got a fixer peg, havent had to use it, but seems much better than your other option of drilling the peg and putting a bolt in it. Seems a tidy piece of kit. HTH

The fixer peg looks better than stock!
Ollie, echoing the other advice, it might be cheaper to buy a set of lowers from Suzy rather than hunt for a 2nd hand one and get it sprayed up as a good job might be pretty expensive. I would both the set and then sell your decent one (and scuffed up but cleaned up) one on the 'bay, that way you offset some of the cost. There will always be some poor soul looking for a right panel and possibly may want to repair your left side one too. |
