Mark, great to learn that you are out of hospital! Judging by your
description of the accident you are very lucky to be alive. Hope the
driver gets prosecuted.

Wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you again at some future
rideout.

Great to hear you're doing well Mark under the circumstances and dealing with it in your own inimitable style.

Would it be at all possible to share with us the salient points of what saved you from potebtially worse?

Get well soon.

£300 of Arai lid, as this went right into the windscreen and the inturnal structure deformed but saved my head (although I got some contusions) I don't think I'll be trusting to any lesser make, you can't beat quality and fit.
Triumph branded gortex zip together textiles (these have straps to stop the armor moving unlike most of the cheaper makes) once again quality & fit.

Hard Armoured gloves and Daytona Boots.

Of course I'm in a position to afford this sort of stuff, but I would say, get the best you can afford and ware it , do it up properly, I'd have lost my leg in jeans (even the motorbike ones).

Cheers Mark

Mark, as others have said, you're becoming a walking legend.

Glad to hear you're ok, and already out. You should have had a joke with the hospital about where were your missing toes!

speedy recovery fella
