Little scooter finished today, well still in need of a seat cover (should be here tuesday) then tyres and an MOT, and that should see me mobile by the end of the week, then it's just what I can manage.

Had a couple of really good days working on it in the sunshine, greasy fingernails, cut & brused knuckles, almost felt normal, first time in a long while.

Cheers Mark.

152 BHP to 12 BHP, wouldn't bank on being faster than anything, still way faster than feels safe on the thing that's for sure, and of course better than being stuck here. .

Cheers Mark.

Posty just dropped off the seat cover, so here's a pic of the invalid carrage, not to bad, all in it's cost me just under £100 so far.

Cheers Mark.

Well the exhaust has been Krust rusted and painted a fetching shade of heat resistant black and the guard heat resistant silver, rather than the orange rust colour, does that count ?

(anyway got to keep it looking fairly normal, as I'll give it to my son when I'm done with it.)

Cheers Mark.

If it's got a baffle can you remove it

Actually I seem to remember that these things need a fairly tight exhaust to run properly. Having said that, I've seen several aroundthat have had proper bike exhausts fitted

Welcome back to 2 wheels Mark - that's great news. Look forward to seeing you at Soho (if I don't come round to your house and eat those puddings first)... Thinking of you.

Thanks Caz, although got to get it threw the MOT first, if all goes well, maybe this friday , but I won't know until tuesday evening.

No burning me up on the way in though, I've enough on my plate handling the 12.24 bhp

Cheers Mark.
