Good to hear.
Sounds like real progress and a sign things are coming together.
Not before time eh?

Well strictly speaking, I've not finished treatment yet and should start physio in a month or so (as if I'm going to wait anymore ).

Cheers Mark.

Well Sean kindly came round this afternoon with his very smart Tiger, and I was pleasently surprised to find I fitted, so if I go down that route, it's the head contender, for thoughs that asked here's the man and his bike.

Cheers Mark.

Not strictly anything to do with Selkent, but for continuity.

Well a long old day, A number of firsts, when out by myself got the new tyres pre-MOT check and MOT done lunchtime, whilst I waited, walked up Streatham hill and the full length of the high road and back (about 4 miles), why? to see if I could, OK scary as people don't move out the way and I can't avoid them, got hit by a couple of pushchairs as the owners expect everyone else to move, found I can't make it across the road at pedestrian crossings in one go and have to stop in the middle and wait for the next time, another first was a small kid as he walked passed with his mum, I heard him say " mum that mans a cripple", so it's official, sweated threw everything I was wearing mind, but managed to make it to woolworths, buy a couple of cards and a gift and get back, scooter passed without problem, then went home, made sure I didn't sit down and had a shower before Anna came round (didn't quite make it though and she was waiting for me when I got out) anyway, a brew and chat then off to Soho, scoot rides a bit better with the new tyres, but still pretty scary, arrived without incident, nice to see the familiar faces up there, had our fish & chip (picked up on the way) and then plied with coffee from multiple sources, over the evening some of the faces I wouldn't have expected turned up, Sally was there with her gorgeous RSVR, our newest car driver also,Lyn even without a bike made it too, it was quit a full turn out I'd guess (not having been in so long, can't really judge), didn't sit down all evening (4 and a bit hours) as I was afraid I would be able to get up again, came to a point that when Jambo asked when I wanted to go now seemed a good time.

Rode back home without a problem the adrenaline of being scared on the scoot more than enough to keep me focused, got back, got in and Bliss, removed the knee brace, had a brew with Jambo and a couple of painkillers, they're just starting to work now, will be going to sleep soon, may just sleep all tomorrow.

I think I just about reached my limit today, still something to look at exceeding next time

Thanks for the warm reception guys and all that have helped.
Guess where I'll be next friday

Cheers Mark.
