I'm alright, been out tonight with the guys, getting about on the scoot (1300 miles so far), works on the way, been in and talked to them filled in some forms, just waiting them getting back to me, so getting there.

Plans, well on the bike front I'm trying to build up stamina on the scoot and strength in the knee, I should have the CB up and running for the start of June and if I'm able to cover the mileage, then I'll go to AE07.

As to the speed triple, I've mothballed it until next summer, you never know ?

Still working my way threw the paperwork, but getting there.

But my main focus at the moment is to try fitting in as normally as possible.

Cheers Mark.

Hi K, OK perhaps normal isn't the word, but I did say trying

funnily enough we went to a pub where I seriously thought about taking the train up as they do good beer there, but in the end didn't have the bravery to use the train by myself, could have done the trip up without tomuch of a problem, but was worried about the return as I do slow down quite a lot as the evening goes on.

Got home last night sat down and removed the brace, then found I couldn't hold the knee steady and walk on it, had to go back to the two crutches thing for a while.

I hope the payback is getting less each time, but can't say for sure at this stage, I'm just doing what I can.

Cheers Mark.

Thumbs up Re: Rictus

Just over 8 months Now.

just by way of an update.

Back on a motorbike at last, got the CB on the road yesterday , not to bad, a bit heavy and I'll have to watch the tiredness side of things, but at least it's fairly comfortable.

Got the settlement cheque for the TT £2,600 and a further £1,000 for kit, so pleased with that.

Can't really do much about the Knee claim as the treatment isn't finished (although I'm aware they can't make it any better). so that's all on hold.

Walking, well lets just say I'm getting used to a certain level of pain verses the amount I do and at a greatly reduced rate,Have more good days than bad, but it's still a bit hit & miss whether I get a decent nights sleep.

Work, occupational health has been in contact and should be working soon, all be it a limited fashion.
