Cheers Mark.
I will try and organise a venue where there are no steps and disabled access is available for those members of the Massive that also belong to the Wonky knee gang. Can't get out of it that easily. Hope the recovery is going well

Thanks Hun, for thoughs not in the know, back under the knife to start another series of operations on the 11th of December, so another Christmas of deep joy and contentment ( but at least they are doing something).

Cheers Mark.

Had my pre-op assessment yesterday, the normal round of prods & pokes in the morning (found out my bathroom scales are wrong, lost 32lb of mucle in total ), then meet the ward sister, consultant to find out what they plan to do and the surgical team.

Seems I have two surgical teams who will be working on me at the same time and hope to do three operations in one.

Bit of a result on the stay though, if I have good diabetic readings in the morning and manage to eat and take my own insulin post Op, there is a slight possibility I could go home that very day as I've turned down the 72 hour morphine thingy.

so just about all set for the 11th, can't wait and terrified at the same time.

Cheers Mark.
