Na my love, not this time, apart from it being about 11 miles, work paid for the cab so would have been rude not to really .

Although Monday I finally get to see the consultant so hopefully I'll be given the go ahead to start working the knee, got the physio on friday so we'll see just how far I can push it ( can I get a couple of months physio done in one session? ride to Soho that evening? OK maybe not then ).

Cheers Mark.

You can't go anywhere yet. I haven't done a visit and Fridays are the only days I can fit it in.

As said I've no information to work from, hopefully that will change tomorrow, then I will be allowed to push it, then it's just a case of pain tollerance, and I've got pretty good at that.

Apart from that not much going on in my world.

But we'll see what the man says

Mark.

A fine line to walk.

It's one of those things, the fine line between a positive attitude and optimisum.

Got it wrong today, big time, I fell into the trap of not having information and hoping for a quicker recovery than I'd any right to.

got a crushing slap in the face from the consultant, basically cancel all physio and don't make anymore appointments until we say so, don't even think about bending the knee not even 10 degrees, stay in the brace and keep it on if you move, bugger off and come back in 5 weeks and we'll have another look.

So that's it, no goal to aim at and nothing topush for , just go to sit here for another 5 weeks and wait for some biological glue to do it's stuff.

He showed me the latest x-rays and over the years I've seen some pretty messed up bones with plates screws and alsort in them, these X-rays looked as bad as I've ever seen, blood junior mecarno set in there

Cheers Mark.

Thanks Lou, I guess I should have known better, expectation is a funny old thing.

Still at least sparkly girl came down this afternoon and the cuddles were nice

Cheers Mark.

I am a little confused. (not difficult I know) How come the physio's having been saying or to be more precise, been getting you to do physio when the consultant has told you not to move then knee in any way shape or form Do they not talk to each other or read your case notes before going to work

Hang on, I already know the answer to that after I broke my pelvis. Physio's got me to try and walk after my op and thought I was making too much of a fuss trying to get out of bed. They had no idea what-so-ever that I had eleven broken ribs.

You must be most annoyed. I know I would be. Who knows if the physio they gave you to do has now done irreparable damage.
