Thats great don't' spend it all at once! oooppss too late on that bit of advice! No point in asking if your enjoying the new bike, I can see from the updates that you are and jealous that I can't get out as often as you do on the bikes.

Need to give the knee one last try at exercise, that'll mean dropping out of social circles and bike riding for a time then get my work status sorted; which will need a change of GP and going through the whle process again, with the aim of another job (probably part time as I can't manage a full time one), but at least I don't have to worry about money for a while now.

Cheers Mark

After recent events the push on getting the knee as strong as possible will have to wait a bit, so it looks like that'll be the new year now

Cheers Mark.

well another year on, I'm now well familiar with my limits and the price I have to pay, I've pushed hard this year and done some wonderful things, but also suffered a great deal more into the bargain, I'm not very good at the "take it easy" bit and to be honest it feels like riding is the nearest I get to being pain free, off the bike that can only be achieved with scotch and drugs, but it pays to be positive, so I'll grab the good times while I can, highlights this year, 1,400 miles over ice and snow back in Feb, awesome going around the north Yorkshire dales in weather like that, a couple of blats down to Exmoor and playing over there, Wales was good on the three trips, but the icing was the Superduke on the IOM, screaming it over the mountain at 150mph..... amazing.

Cheers Mark.
