Actually this doesn't work......

Bear managed to "park" his SV in someones driveway doing just that on one rideout.

Getting focused on the bike you are following is just as bad as just looking at the floor.

Great Theory tho

Sorry to hear about you falling off your bike, it happens. I've been trying to say in the past that it would be good if you could meet up with other bikers and go for a little bimble with them or just the one. I think I might have suggested one or two girls forums. Go and have a look at curvyriders.co.uk
If I remember well you're in suffolk, norfolk or something I know someone there who I'm sure is willing to help. Also try gbbikers again. Do you know any other bikers at all? I know it's difficult because you don't feel confident enough to ride with other bikers and don't want to slow them down etc etc I was like that in the beginning and that's why I'm saying it to you. Take up the offers you're getting if you're ready to ask for some help and you will soon see that friendly camaraderie does more than asking technical questions here.

Good luck!

Funny, I had a similar experience when I started on the SV. It turned out that when I had had everything on the bike adjusted correctly (throttle bodies balanced, engine remaped, chain, oil level, throttle cable and new tyres) the bike was waaaaay easier to ride. Yes, twins can be jerky, but some are jerkier then others!

Anyway, chalk it up to experience. You'll be fine.

i haven't read all the pages but the twin engines are quite jerky if you don't slip the clutch at low speeds

at least you were riding yours when it fell over, i dropped mine on myself when pushing it around the drive

LOL both me and Ruth knew I was talking trash here was just trying to cheer her up and make her giggle.

Anyway you would NEVER catch me looking at a mans bum while he is dressed in leathers ..... never I say

Dont worry about it Shell, I knew that too, but it always makes me smile when I think about Bear explaining it at the scene.

Little did we know that about a mile up the road, Raf had also had an "issue"......

2 offs, a mile apart at about the same time - good in the Soho Massive, aren't we

Shelley, You wouldn't look at a mans bum when in leathers?!?! Na me neither don't know what all the hype is to be honest!!!

Mindu there is a severe lack of nice bums in leathers this way! Either that or they ride to fast to get a good look.... just to assess the quality of the erh leather that is!

Trouble is mens bums look nice in leathers, it when you get them out of them you realise they are yuk !! (not all tho so don't be disheartened)..... only been out with 2 bikers so my experience is limited.
