Ruth I`m not sure if it`s been asked already (and too lazy to read back) but are you sure the bike isn`t too big for you??

I`m merely asking out of interest because I`m 5`4" and you`re 8 inches shorter than me.. my SV has been lowered as much as an SV can possibly be lowered and I`m still on tip toe. The height to the seat is 30 inches after it`s been lowered as much as poss and you`ve already told me via PM that your leg length is ? 25 inches. How then are you possibly managing to reach the floor at all, even on tip toe? or have you come across another way of reducing the height? If so please let me know cos I`d be made up to be able to lower mine another half inch in order to get my feet down flat.

Would this sorta thing work? Or would that just be plain dangerous?

Would it get stuck under the gear pedal?

Those buffalos would not offer you any protection if you fell chick - would you not just consider getting a lower bike a vfr400 is very low.

As has been mentioned to you several times on your lowering thread(s) - Daytona Ladystar boots have a built up sole to provide more 'leg length'. Much better than those buffalos as they are a proper full length bike boot.

Well its not like some of us didnt tell you that we thought you had purchased the wrong bike in the numerous threads about lowering your SV that you created.

You're going round and round and round in circles. Just go and ride the bl**dy thing and stop looking for excuses to avoid riding it.

Sorry if these are harsh words, you just keep posting the same thing over and over again...
