Like the pillion pegs, did you paint them yourself?

I'm gonna get mine powder coated when I send the rear wheel off, it's only £6 a pair

I know the tops of the lowers aren't seen but it wasn't a tidy job at all....looks like someone's had a go at them with a knife and fork!
Lol, same as mine then, looks like my dog has had a go at them, couldn't be bothered to take them off and trim them so heated them up with my lighter and hacked the offending pieces of platic off with a stanley .

I will get round to taking them off and tidying them up, but like you say they are not visible so I'm in no hurry.

yeh did them my self, i was going to polish them up so striped them down but found the metal was of a poor standard so used simoniz grey primer, simoniz paint black gloss, and then simoniz clear coat

they weren't easy to do as they are funny shape so hard to get good coverage, the GF has been on the back and no marks on the pegs at all so fairly good result regarding strength of the finish

At least with the powder coating, as long as you dismantle and degrease them, they glass bead shot blast them and then powder coat them. Seems worth it for the money.

^ yeh i wouldn't of bothered doing it if i haded striped them in the first place, however all the paint 2x 500ml black 1x 500ml primer and 1x 500ml clear cote only cost £15 inc P&P and those are the big cans and only used about a quarter of one can of black, primer and clear cote

at least they go with my black rear sets and black crash bungs (that don't fit the k3 according to R&G lol)

Well after cleaning my bike today after a little ride today it came up really good so had to take some piccies, lol.

I washed it all down and detailed. Then used Autoglym Aqua Wax, I'm amazed with the results!! Looks stunning! You have all got to buy a bottle....
