They are bike specific and cut to shape but you can get blank sheets if you want to cut it yourself.
About £30-40 is about the going rate on ebay. Not a bad edition to the bike if you want to reduce arm fatigue and increase grip when braking. They are simple enough to stick on. I've posted it on here somewhere else. Clean the tank really well, then do it again, and again. Heat up the stomp grips (I used the gas hob and waved them over the top) and they will get really soft and floppy but the glue goes really tacky at this point. Line them up on your tank and work out all the air bubbles (I used a pencil between the knobblie bits). Once you have finished, put the bike back in the shed for a minimum of 24 hours for the glue to cure. Job done. ![]() Just as a note though, my leathers are starting to show signs of wear inside the knees 2 years later but I do grip with my knees and brake quite hard. The fit on the SV ones are perfect, no cutting etc. Application is easy but takes a while if you want them to be perfect with no bubbles. As has already been said, heat the tank and the pad up (I used a hairdryer) and then start at one end, slowly going along and applying one 'line' at a time.
I just used my fingers and pressed around each knobbly bit as I went. Then I always heat them up once the whole pad is applied and press down really hard around the edges so they don't peel away. 24 hours later and it's ready to ride and you'll wonder why you've waited to fit some! |

They are easy to fit, and do a brilliant job

I used some cheap rubber mat from Aldi, and some double sided tape. Total cost; about a fiver! After 3 or 4 trackdays, my leathers are wearing through inside the knees. Total cost; oh ****!

got mine from v2mal with a discount code from gixxer junkies.
as above heat and stick no worries - don't attempt in the dark. I used the back of a pencil to press between the knobbles

I'm selling a less expensive alternative. I started cut my own and started selling them to the guys on SVrider.
You can read about them here: (the pages leading up to that point are just how TechSpec blew off a long list of interested buyers) http://forum.svrider.com/showthread....echspec&page=5 I'm happy to ship across the pond if any of you are interested. |

I found the real Stomp Grip very abrasive but the Motrax Knee Grip Sheet a lot easier on my leathers
