I only get 100 miles out of mine after brimming the tank I was on the washers so I have swapped to a 33bhp ecu I was hoping to get more but on the half a tank I had in there and mileage on first half it still only managed 100 miles.
I figure that with the washers being in there making it run rich it would have knackered the plugs so I will change them this week with some fresh oil and see how I go. I must admit I not that happy with it I seem to be losing 50/60 miles a tank ![]() |

I regularly get 170 miles until the light comes on. It is 33bhp though.
After reading this, im not so looking forward to derestriction if im going to lose 50 or 60 miles tank range. Afterall, its going to be tenpting to use the extra power if its there. |

And again! from 2013
![]() had my 650s Pointy for a month now and I'm getting the fuel light come on around 155 miles, still flashing at 180 miles - filled up this morning & it took 13.82 litres (me sat on it filling, not on the stand). Do the tanks actually hold 17litres? If I had 3 litres of fuel left I could have probably done over 200 miles to a tank. |

Still only taking mine upto 8-8.5k rpm and getting 150 light to light, much depends in my opinion how hard you ride through the first couple of gears, and we've all heard it before, but smooth riding and breaking DOES make a small difference!!!

![]() Seems as the topics been brought back up. Iv been on full power for nearly a year now, and its made little difference to the amount of fuel it uses. Its still around 170 miles a tank. However, if i have a particularly fast session over a tank, itll drop to around 140 miles. Thought i might aswell say, just incase anybodys interested haha. |

My old tl1000s would only get 80 miles. That was proper over fueled. My current k3 pointy gets 130miles to a tank. How are others geting 170+?
