If you can't get the correct adjustment then you may have to do it at the carb end. For you to be able to get the correct adjustment at the throttle tube end depends on how much initial slack was at the carb end. Someone might have worked on the carbs previously and put the ajustment(with original tube) at basically almost the bare minimum using the carb end adjusters. Put in the R6 tube and you don't have sufficient adjustment at the throttle grip end. Anyhoos I reckon that is what the problem is. To get to the cab end adjusters, airbox has to come off. Ben |

Put the R6 throttle tube back on without the cable attached and check it rotates freely. If it does, then it must be cable related.
