i was a complete numpty.

I just took my time with it. I also used the black and decker mouse with polishing sand paper on for about 30 mins solid and kept it wet. The finish was superb after!

I'll have to have a look later, as work does not allow, unless I see the bike first.

Methinks I'll be doing this as soon as I have the time! It'll be a damn sight cheaper than buying a new undertray...

Can you just put the filler straight into the hole left by the indicators or did you have to use some mesh or something for the filler to hold onto?

i used double sided sticky tape on the back of the hole and filled onto that.

The tape just peels clean of the filler once dry!

That undertray is the same one manufactured by Ermax for the K3. Either Roca made it and Ermax bought them to sell as their own, or the other way around.

Either way - be very very careful of it. Mine was made of brittle low quality plastic. On the one hand it will damage your brake lights, on the other, it will fatigue and snap.

I complained to Ermax, they gave me some money off the new version which they market for the K4 onwards. It fits the K3 perfectly but obviously addresses the quality and design of the original. It was better plastic, and better designed.

However, mine's just broken again. I won't be getting another. it's rather dangerous having your number plate dragging over your rear wheel.

i must admit, that the plastic seems to be quite tough on this tray. It does not seem to be cheap or brittle. Has quite a bit of flex in it
