I am just about to buy my first set of leathers and have seen some RST Voltage ones for £200 plus a bit of postage. These come as either two piece or one piece suits.
Mainly I only commute on the bike, but will hopefully be using the bike for a few more leisurely rides this year. My textiles are fine and have been used everyday since I have had them. It is unlikely I'll be doing any trackdays, but you never know....... So my questions are as follows: 1. Which would be best 2 piece or one piece? 2. Does anyone have any opinions of these RST ones? 3. Anything else I need to consider? Cheers, Kev |

2 piece unless you are racing.
No idea to 2 and 3, but I would trust lozzos advice on the matter. Sure he'll be along at some point...

YC, why two piece? I guess easier for removing and stuff?

Yeap. I don't see how the added protection of 1 piece would do much good on the road, and they are inconvenient. And you look a tit.

I bought a set of RST voltage leathers (2 piece) at the NEC in December. £200 for the set. they fit me very well and seem well made, but obviously I can't comment on crash protection as I aint crashed in them yet (touch wood). The jacket is warm, but the trousers are perforated around the upper thigh so not warm enough for winter riding. I imagine they'd be nice in summer though.

RST yep nice leathers. comfy and I don't know about crashing in them. DK's got some great deal on them £260 for the set, cheap as chips. Well my chippy is a bit cheaper by about £250 if you want fish with the chips LOL

Get 2 piece. Not sure on RST, I fell for alpine stars thinking they were good quality, been informed otherwise.
