Thank you for using phone parking, we are sending this email to inform you of some changes to the system which will be implemented from 1st June 2009.
It has been mandated by Visa that all transactions where the cardholder is not present must include the three digit security code from the back of your credit or debit card known as the CVV2 code. In some locations this is already a requirement when paying by phone but from 1st June 2009 all transactions will need to include CVV2 capture.

If you are paying for your parking through the automated process on your phone you were previously asked to press 1 to confirm the parking transaction, you will now be prompted to enter the CVV2 code as confirmation. Please listen carefully to the prompts for this change.

If you are purchasing online permits for your station parking or your motorcycle you will be prompted to enter your CVV2 code when you confirm the payment.
If you are paying by text you will be required to enter the CVV2 code following the duration i.e. LOCATION DURATION CVV2 e.g. 7368 10 123. Please remember there should be a space between each field of information otherwise the system may not be able to interpret the information correctly. If you have more than one car registered on your account you will now need to specify which car you wish to park after the CVV2 code e.g. 7368 10 123 ABC123.

If you are a corporate account administrator you will need to make sure that all the employees listed on your account have been given the CVV2 code so that they are able to enter this at the end of the call as confirmation of the parking. They will not be able to park without this.

If you are unsure which card is registered on your account please email your mobile phone number and car registration number to uksupport@verrus.com and we will let you know the last four digits.

Billy, please make sure you forward those comments to the NoTo team for their solicitors to add to their case against they charge. If their system doesn't work then its another reason why the charge should be scrapped.

"Loopy Tuesday" Round and round we go! We are not going away!

I went on to the No To website this morning to have a uick look for an update about this and suprise, suprise their website is "broken". Wonder if the westminster IT dept had anything to do with that, lol.

So who's gonna be there tomorrow? I hope to be. Anyone else coming, fancy meeting at Frith beforehand and riding ther together again?
