Well that was a bit of a laugh. No where near as much fun as the last one was but then again it wasn't exactly a route that little loop was it.

I was suprised that the organiser said "Its been great, so much better than the last demo"...i do hope he was talking about the car park demo tbh.

Anyhoo this time the pedestrians seemed to be more into us for sure.

I'll post up the short vid i did on my phone in a while.

Well I thought it was good for my first demo. Sorry I lost you Zig but I waited for Lucas to get within sight and then I'd lost you!

Can't believe there were so few of Soho compared to the others

My flatmate asked me if i was part of the demo tonight when i got in, i was pleased that he'd heard of it cos he works in Highgate which isnt exactly central. I asked him if it was on London Tonight or something and he said it was only a small art of the traffic report...on radio.

I had a quick look on the BBC London website and can find absolutely nothing about it ffs. Now i dont know if thats cos the organisers are bad at informing the press of their planned action, the journos were too busy outside tube stations asking banal questions about "How does this affect you?" or if they have been got at by the powers that be and been told to not carry the story.

Either way it stinks to me.

No worries Darren, i sw Lucas a few secs later anyway and he said you shot off homeward.

And yeh you're right about the poor turnout of Soho-its....especially after my speech earlier on.

but was good to see Billy made the effort, even if he could only stay for a couple of laps at least he was there

Would've felt a bit of a James Blunt sitting on the train up to London and back in full leathers to go pillion

Well I must say if that is anything to go by I'm glad I didn't bother to turn up - what did that achieve? It didn't hold up the traffic at all except for a few exta vehicles in one place that wouldn't have otherwise been there.
I thought the idea was to bring traffic to a standstill, not act as typical bikers and race through the traffic adding as little as possible to the congestion
Why not ride in single file? leaving a 2 second gap? but without letting any traffic enter from side roads.

It was frustrating. I think for the next one there needs to be more emphasis on the GO SLOW.

If we can get more Soho members down there we could do our own special rolling road block. We did try.

yeh youre right there Stu. But even more reason for you and others who know the "plan" to have showed up.
I was riding with a polish guy on a gixxer who was like me trying to keep it as slow as possible but a lot of the others seemed to think the idea was to try and stick in one big pack and put on a show for the tourists

those of us who knew however did do our best to keep it very slow
