Just been told by a bloke from Aberdeen on advrider that General Wades Military Roads are mainly under Forestry Commision control or fall on private land and are closed to vehicles.

A guy on advrider contacted Scotways who do something or other with rights of way and he posted this: 'They posted me a printed sheet detailing 148 (not 142) rights of way with start and end grid references. I scanned this into an excel spreadsheet and calculated the length of them (direct route from start to finish, not the actual length on the ground): 80 are less than half a mile. 38 are between .5 mile and 1.0 miles. The longest is 4.9 miles but before you get excited, this is now a 'C' class road!' So thats that then Sorry for the derail again Nutty, but at least you know your pics where most 'stimulating' |
