Default Helmet interior cleaners

Can anyone recommend me a decent interior cleaner, spray foam thingy?

Only the helmet cheek pads are removable for cleaning

cheers!

I've read a few times any mild shampoo should be fine like baby shampoo or shower gel. I used fairy liquid on the cheek pads and they're fine. Don't go wasting your money!

I used Baby shampoo on my Shoei, should have seen the muck come out.
It took a good week to dry out though as it was Christmas.

Now got a Schuberth R1 - Very quiet, well you can't get any noisier than an Arai Corsair.

yep, i do wash the cheek pads with shampoo, but it is the fixed interior lining i what to clean without soaking the whole helmet

anyway, shampoo is a wierd word, why would a word associated with cleaning have 'poo' in it...

I wonder if there are other words with 'poo' in it

I tried a couple of specific helmet lining cleaners the spray on aerosol foam ones and they didnt work very well. I really found baby shampoo to be the best thing for the lining.

I washed it with shampoo and then rinsed it out with the shower, but it does involve soaking it and it took a couple of days to dry out properly but it really did clean it really well.

Oooh what's a rood wash? Is it like what I do in the shower?

Shampoo doesn't refer to the soap. It's about massaging your head
