I think Vista is ok, providing you have enough RAM. Had a previous laptop which ran like a bag of poo as it didnt have enough. This has 4GB and I find it's pretty quick.

I cant wait to try windows 7, apparently none of the small notebooks ever used vista because of it being so instable so reverted to using XP. I believe now though they are going to be using windows 7, a lot of good reviews out there for it.

Vista...I actually like it!
Could have even had Windows 7 64bit Professional for £30 through the student deal but opted not to bother with the upgrade and gave it to my Mum's partner. |

Got XP on the pc and vista on the laptop, XP always seems more stable.

I'm posting this from an XP machine, but my laptop has been running 7 for the last - oooo - 9months maybe?
I was going to go into detail about what systems I've just been using, but that's cheating as I'm in work... |
