I think Vista is ok, providing you have enough RAM. Had a previous laptop which ran like a bag of poo as it didnt have enough. This has 4GB and I find it's pretty quick.

I cant wait to try windows 7, apparently none of the small notebooks ever used vista because of it being so instable so reverted to using XP. I believe now though they are going to be using windows 7, a lot of good reviews out there for it.

Vista...I actually like it!

Could have even had Windows 7 64bit Professional for £30 through the student deal but opted not to bother with the upgrade and gave it to my Mum's partner.

Got XP on the pc and vista on the laptop, XP always seems more stable.

I'm posting this from an XP machine, but my laptop has been running 7 for the last - oooo - 9months maybe?

I was going to go into detail about what systems I've just been using, but that's cheating as I'm in work...
