I couldn't give less of a s**t.
If a woman wants to go around dressed as a ninja it's her choice. That's the whole point of a free country. There are all ready too many rules in this country, we don't need to start introducing a dress code.

Only threat to our freedom is whinging left wing idiots, not militant muslims. Ignore them and they will go away. Or blow themselves up, everyone's a winner. TBH given some of the tales around here about muslim women "choosing" to dress like stealth postboxes I'm not sure it's fashion so much as lunatic husbands. But, I don't really care. Passport control on the other hand, well it's just common sense someone needs to see your face.

Take one British woman (preferably good looking with a nice bum) and take her to Saudi.
Dress her in a Bikini and see how far she gets walking down the high street! When in Rome... C |

Many of Saudi's laws are wrong, very wrong, we shouldn't start adopting them here.

Correct me if I am wrong but if we all went about wearing Burkhas we would be accused of being offensive to others religions[I know it is not religious garb]
But can somebody explain why they have to cover there face in this country,is it for the flies ,sand storms or perhaps they are shy. I also think it slightly dangerous when worn while driving as the bottom of the veil is loose and could blow up over the eyes It has been used in robberies and terrorist atrocities and escapes as a form of disguise. If I walk into a bank for normal banking business with my face covered I wouldn't be surprised if a clerk hit the panic button, It is ok for the country of origin but hardly necessary or relevent here and many countries have dress codes for foreign visitors so why should we not have one, that is unless this is no longer our country Last edited by Dicky Ticker; 30-04-10 at 10:55 AM. |
