There have always been a couple of coppers on the .org and at meets and stuff. It's nothing new. And they've always been sensible enough to leave the job at home and generally decent folk.*

I didn't mean it that way, I was more thinking that it would be impolite to put them in the position where they know someone's riding illegally.
(Speeding excepted of course)

You need to ride with our beloved blues mate. Speed isn't an issue, they don't ride wearing their uniforms and they are top people. I learned more in 1 day out with one of our pc's on a brisk 300 mile ride than I have in 12 months riding with others or on my own. If they saw one of us try to get on a bike after a skin full I'm sure they would intervene like anyone else, if you were to carry on being a muppet then the professional side would probably and rightly kick in. They aren't born to spend their waking hours hunting for mot, tax dodgers and other serious crims
