Treat it as a challenge take a couple of breaks but don't drink to mutch tea and coffee as to mutch will make you need more toilet stops.

Oh yeah and eat good food. Complex carbs and fruit, and plenty of water.

Yup, but only in north Wales. If you go a bit south from Holyhead then continue the run east from about Dolgellau area you should be ok.
I live in Aberystwyth some of the time and I've never even been pulled over for loud can, race visor and a bit of speeding (ok, alot of speeding)

So, the question is; is it reasonable to travel 450 miles in 1 day on a motorbike. Though most of this run will be 'A' roads and motorways (and a boat)
my longest day personally is 1575 miles , done over 1000 in a day 3 or 4 times anythiong less than 500 in a day is a regular sunday ride.

the key to long distance comfort, is what you wear for underwear and not your saddle

Three days on the trot
day 1 1000
day 2 1050
day 3 750

That was at the end of a 13000 mile trip in 28 days on a GSXR600.
We had to make the fraight company to get our bikes back home and our airport tickets were allready booked. We made it with only 2 hours to spare.

Hi Daz:

I did Lands End to John O'Groats in a single day...on a Transalp; 867 miles door to door, not counting the 330 blatting down to Cornwall the day before or the 550 miles covered getting back to S London the two days after.

450 in a day is well in scope - good luck with it mate, wish you well.

Best regards

Steve
