Working in a fairly dark garage (early evening and there were no lights in there) I very nearly used brake fluid as top up "oil". Luckily, just as I was about to pour it, I thought, "hang on, I've got some old brake fluid in a container like this, best check." A quick sniff confirmed it.

I love the small of brake fluid in the morning.
 Or should that be Napalm?
