Default Re: Vinyl wrapped fairings?

I wouldn't attempt this myself, not with so many twists and turns in the fairing. I've seen some pretty good advertising work done on cars and vans in adhesive stickers and it looks one piece even close up. Can't understand how they do it. I've done some designs for company vans which ended up done in vinyl stickers which ended up pretty impressive. The company who does them also guarantees the colour endurance duration of it's product which is of a greater importance here in Malta due to our warmer, sunnier weather which has a negative effect on colour pigment. I've asked them if motorcycles can be done and replied that it shouldn't be a problem although straight lines in a design might be due to the stretching material properties of vinyl.

Here's some examples, no bikes yet. I have a spare mudguard and am thinking of doing a design on that, see how it works out.

I saw this company at the NEC. Don't be put off by the website which seem to be for cars. If you do a serch for a pattern there are kits for pointy's & curvy's. Plus lists of dealers in Europe & UK. So they could do the installation, which I'd rather do.
