Re: The border patrol triangle
Spanish? With a name like Pedro? Oh hang on
Nah mate, that's just some of the "w*nk words" I have to put up with in my profession I took a look at the Google Maps API yesterday ... have to say to Baph ... I really really REALLY ... can't be ar$ed The JS looks simple enough, nice object model (ooeerrrr!) (that was a really sad and geeky joke I know. I make no apologies for it though), but I have other things on my mind right now ... finding another job being one of them Yup, got my contract ended yesterday due to "insufficient workload" and "the outsourcing deal with IBM". Been given a months notice so finish 28th Feb. So today I will mostly be updating my CV |

Incidentally I've got a neat method that records your trip with a GPS log, plots it in google earth/maps and colour codes your route according to speed (or altitude if you prefer) the wonders of mapping eh? back onto the original point, I'd be in favour of that as its closer to me something in that area but then I rather like a run up the horseshoe pass too so when the weather is nicer that might suffice but maybe with the area map provided some places could be chosen for better geographical representation of our membership (sorry for the wordiness, been on a training course the last two days and my heads full of em) |

Re: The border patrol triangle
This was the intention of the original evening meeting points of The Bridge (Llangollen), The Tap (Wirral) and Stormy Petrel (Tern Hill nr Shrewsbury) in that they were close enough to most members to allow them to get to at least one meet a month. These were in the evenings in the summer and have died a death over the winter.
I'd be all for these coming back when the clocks change. |

Re: The border patrol triangle
I think the original meets where prity well spaced out, as mike says allows most people to attend one a month if they dont want to travel to far, im sure the evening meets will be back on once the weather gets better and the nights get lighter.
