11 days i will never forget, with great friends. The roads, the weather, the company all make it very special in different ways.

The key to having a fun, safe trip is go we peeps you trust, leave your egos behind and when you have had enough for the day... say something.

One word to sum it all up

EPIC !

Read this thread this morning, but didn't post. An epic journey indeed.
Its a bloody long way down innit guys?, I did a 1600 round trip to my mates in France, and this just makes me want to do it again. The roads never run out, they just go on, and on and on! It is indeed absolutely tiring, but oh so worth it.

Sorry to hear about Quiffys bike
BUT Huzzzaaah the three musketeers return to tell a tale...Hurrrahhh

One question.......

When returning onto English roads, what was your immediate thought?

Mine was......' god these roads are fecking ****'!!! In the way of boring, poor surface, cramped, ignorant oafs driving etc etc

pretty much the same as yours.

Crap surface, bumpy, congested etc and the weather is awful

But to be honest I was so tired and just wanted to get home and any road would have been too slow!

great write up, when you go on a trip to foreign parts it will allways be an adventure, hail the three amigos, but not packing waterproofs and torches, thought you said you had planned this trip lol
