If I could afford that kind of money I'd rather spend it on something that drinks petrol.
I don't have the watch bug, and only stumped up a few hundred for a titanium Seiko because it's pretty much bomb proof. I wear it every day and it's outlasted all the cheapo watches I've owned. |

I have a genuine Rolex Submariner watch, not as expensive as this one but at around £3K its still pricey. I inherited it and love it, it really is a quality piece of engineering. Also helps that my father is a watchmaker and so cleaning and maintenance is dealt with.
How much do you spend? Depends what you like and what you can afford I guess. I sometimes wonder why people spend £50K on a car when you can get a good example for a couple of grand. |
