When she first hit the charts she was THE most beautiful black girl that I had ever seen.She matured and in "The Bodyguard" she was for me simply jaw droppingly gorgeous. A singing voice like no other I had ever heard. But then the bad decisions started to take place and I can only suggest that it is the lucky one's who can put the brake on whilst in the midst of such excess. Yet another great shame.

I am no fan of her ex hubby and he too was lost in the world of drugs and so they made a self destructive pairing,but Whitney was not the totally clean choir singing girl prior to getting together with Bobby.In fact Eddie Murphy has possibly more to be criticised for as he was strongly suggested as being the one that got her trying out substances when they were together for a spell.
