Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

Hovi5's a class act But, Lynw has a point. Except when she's telling people she disagrees with that they shouldn't be on the forum.

That was a point too... :P

By agreeing with a policy that says unless a person agrees with what we say, they should clear off is quite dangerous if its reversed and then used against you - which is what I did in that post to hovi5. Maybe a bit too subtle a point and got hidden by the bluntness of appearing to say he shouldnt be on the forum when it was supposed to demonstrate how easy it is to reverse the position.

Because its all well and good the day youre the pigeon and are dictating the policy and telling people to clear off if they dont like it. But not so good the day youre the statue and its someone else, whos using that principle you agree with and doing the exact same thing as you did, telling you that you dont conform so you clear off if you dont like it.

Perfectly put. And the best possible reason for putting an end to the whole unnatural affair.

The British were good enough to take the land from the natives and they've been good enough to defend that land for centuries, which means they're good enough to tell the immigrants to sod off. If the Aussies don't fight for what's theirs then they'll suffer the same fate as the Aborigines and the Native Americans. The strong always dominate the weak. That's the way it always has been and that's the way it always will be.
