Bad luck mate! Glad you are not too hurt, good gear saves the day yet again. Did the guy stick around, admit liability, any witnesses? Lets hope it is resolved quickly and painlessly and you get an interesting replacement bike off his insurance in the meantime.

Sorry to hear about this. I wish you a rapid recovery, that your bike is back on the road soon and that the insurance company deal with it swiftly and fairly. Oh and that the Audi-idiot gets done for DWDC.

Thanks for all your well wishes, it's cheered me up. The guy did stop and I have a witness fortunately. It all seems quite sureal really. one minute I'm driving to work the next I'm looking at the ski with my bike ontop of me! Ebike have prioritised me and hopefully I'll have a replacement bike very soon. I'll let you know what it is and we can all laugh together
