OH MY GOD, I nearly snorted a beer bottle reading that, that's amazing.. Erm. I mean.. Sorry to hear about that...
 Can't you just take the silencer part off, I'm sure it won't have travelled through all the packing and stuff into the pipes.. Or if someone around there has a rivet tool just drill the rivets out, pull it all out and hey presto... You've got a mess AND a bouncy ball  Quote:

Sorry dont have any idea how to get it out without taking the zaust off though.

pointy stick if the outlet allows access, attach a metal prong to the end and spear it, risks jamming it in but then you would just take it apart anyway and push from the other side, dunno just first thought.

Hooray - problem sorted!
Took the can off - nothing in there so took it down to the end of the road, fired it up without the can and gave it some revs after which the ball popped out. My boy was very happy to get his bouncy ball back and I've been trying to teach him not to do it again - don't think the neighbours were too happy with me though
